アルバータ州で29職種のLMIA審査停止

カナダ政府より、4月19日に、アルバータ州が29の職種において、Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA)の審査を停止する事が発表されました。アルバータ州政府（Employer Liaison Services）は、アルバータ州在住のカナダ人や永住者の雇用を優先するよう、現地の雇用主にも働きかけていく姿勢を見せています。対象となる職種は、失業率等を鑑みて今後３ヶ月ごとに見直しがされる見込みです。

今回は、以下29の職業リストがLMIA審査ストップの対象となりました。

Management occupations

（マネージャー職）

1. Human resources managers
2. Engineering managers

Business, finance, and administration occupations

（ビジネス・財政・管理職）

1. Purchasing agents and officers
2. Production logistics coordinators

Natural and applied sciences and related occupations

（自然科学・応用科学に関する職）

1. Civil engineers
2. Mechanical engineers
3. Electrical and electronic engineers
4. Geological and mineral technologists and technicians
5. Civil engineering technologists and technicians
6. Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians
7. Non-destructive testers and inspection technicians

Trades, transport and equipment operators and related occupations

1. Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades and telecommunications
2. Machinists and machining and tooling inspectors
3. Welders and related machine operators
4. Electricians (except industrial and power system)
5. Industrial electricians
6. Plumbers
7. Carpenters
8. Contractors and supervisors, mechanic trades
9. Contractors and supervisors, heavy equipment operator crews
10. Construction millwrights and industrial mechanics
11. Heavy-duty equipment mechanics
